''American Journal of Nursing'' is a monthly peer reviewed nursing journal. It was established in 1900. The editor-in-chief is Maureen Shawn Kennedy. It the a hybrid open access journal allowing authors to make their articles immediately open access for a fee and a delayed open access journal with a 7-year embargo. It is published by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins.
